This month you may visit an interesting photo exhibition in Stockholm Kulturhuset called “Real/Unreal”. The photos displayed are all Hasse Persson’s work and present a real photojournalistic story on USA. There are over 100 photographs revealing a changing USA – a country where it is sometimes hard to say what is real and what is unreal. From Coney Island with its innocent amusement park in the sixties to the Las Vegas of today, we are able to follow the gradual, yet strong, development of a country. In Real/Unreal we get to meet presidents Richard Nixon and Ronald Reagan, celebrities like Bob Dylan, Alfred Hitchcock, Muhammad Ali, Yayoi Kusama and typically American phenomena including Halloween in New York, Mardi Gras in New Orleans, Spring Break in Florida and rodeos in Pendleton, Oregon. The exhibition last until 12 March 2006
