You should be very careful while going out on winter sports, especially if you want to skate. There has been an accident not far from Stockholm yesterday when a group of 16 skiers fell through broken ice over a frozen lake near the town of Mariefred west of the city. As a result, two people have died and a third is taken to hospital in critical condition. The police says that the lake has been used at the time by hundreds of ice skaters and skiers. Several others also fell into the freezing water trying to rescue the original victims. Victims suffering from hypothermia were brought by helicopter to nearby hospitals.
